Dragon Skin Tests #3 - 3D object

Just a quick update - along with scripting I've been doing more DS tests - this time in a 2 piece mold of a 3D object (a cute little Sculpey turtle). The airbrush compressor has been delayed so the pigmenting is ground pastel powdered between 6 thin layers of silicone.

I'm kind of confused about the pigmenting process. Is it possible to get it a solid color with no flecking without a compressor? I'm not saying the flecking looks bad or anything, it just wouldn't be well suited to every character.

Don - definitely able to get rid of the flecking - alot of that is plaster from the mold and the ground up pigment not blended very well.

Thanks Michael!

LOL Justin!!!!

Sneaking along the sidelines, following your DG experiments... When I have done some testing of my own I'll let you know how it all went.
