Walls up and papered

Eeks! Somehow it's been another month since I posted - been working away busily. We finally got a break in the weather (most rain I can remember) and I was able to get some more set pieces chopped up - the walls are now up and wallpapered! Some overlaps for removable walls that'll be tacked down during filming. Baseboards and a bit of finishing touches on the floor are next. Over half the paintings are done, and all but a mini fridge and heater are built. It's getting closer!
It's a great motivator to see it all coming together, each day I can't wait to add more and get even closer to starting filming date - which'll mean many more well-lit (forgive the flash lighting here) updates and clips, can't wait!!!

I don't know what you're building but it sure looks great! Like a real artist's garret!

Thanks Shelley! This is Henry's studio - the entire animation is Henry (older fellow) in this studio.

Very nice! Will there be a window in his studio?

I can't wait to see what it looks like with lights :)

Thanks! Aravind - the fridge is almost done, and the rocking chair is next!

Pram - no windows for Henry, but the lighting is on order and should get here soon, I'm pretty psyched to see it all lit up too!

It's all so very detailed and made with so much love. All the tools and the wallpapers and everything. And the blank flashlight doesn't even diminish the whole magic and atmsphere of the set a bit for me - it's more that it all looks so very good despite the flashlight. Very cool, very moody, and very inspiring !
