Ages without posting! Real world events (job issues) caused alot of stress and got in the way of animating! The nerve. But is all now resolved and I'm taking some time off to focus on animation - the goal is to get a job related to this! We'll see how it goes, all I can do is try to get better at what I do and go from there.
On that note, a short test with the ballet puppet:

Great effort!
The rise of the head flower seems to last a little too long at the end. This makes it seem to be heavier, causing the viewer to instictively expect one or two more bounces after it falls.
Only a minor crit, though. Otherwise I would say it's perfect!
When you're uploading tests, it might be a good idea to put some black screen before and after them, Youtube has a tendency to cut off the first and last second.
he/she/it is really hilarious - the way of walking, the way of bending overl, and the look - I am again and again amazed how much expression a character can show without any movement of it'S face - really really well done. Congratulations and all the best for you upcoming animations.
...and ll the best for finding an employment in the arts you are performing in.
Super Rad! I like the gentle bob of the flower peddles, very realistic!
m_) so glad to see you back animating. a great puppet, very well animated.
m_) I like the personality or the dress, haha...it just makes me laugh to imagine myself with such outfit on it.
LOVE this! It's got life, you know? Especially the delicate natural petal movement at the end. You must have had some dance training.
Thanks for the comments! Shelley - yeah, I did ballet for years when I was younger - not that I was much good at it!
Ah--HA! I KNEW IT! Isn't that funny how one's body awareness shows in their puppets?! That's totally Rad!
The movement is really fluid, and I particularly like the natural way you made the petals flop and bounce with the head-movement.
