The computer is back from the shop! They never did find out what was wrong, so I bought this guy :A tv tuner that works as an analog/digital converter for my camera - it's cheaper than the heavy duty options, but better reviewed then the cheapie converters. Should work out well.
Working with Dragon is amazing, love it! It just feels more intuitative - I still want to get a small monitor (shockingly hard to find) to keep near the set to watch feedback on.
Hmm based on this clip I think I put too much Slacker in Henry's Silicone (bad bad pun, bad me!)
Thanks so much for the comments - you guys/gals/stop mo puppets are keeping me motivated and going!!

so cool!! the lighting, animation and set.. it's all complete.. very good work emmy!
He's alive ! Alive !!!
I really love the flipping of the pencil. And for the rest of the animtion: so beautfully made ! It's the small things that give the character so much ...erm... 'character'. Very nice to see !
m_) holy smurfs crashed on the wall, that was definitely something, and not 'something' but truly SOMETHING.
m_) I loved the guy writing shots, really. If it wasn't clear yet.
(**still preserving balls,. will find them useful as soon as i hit a homedepot and whatever needed to make holes on steels.
m_) Judging the way you are working, I appreciate your work even more. After I finished reading what you wrote. Wah
Touching and heartfelt. You really believe in this world and Henry's character. I couldn't look away.
If you want inspiration for this sort of mood, check out Martin The Cobbler (the sequence when he's working to candle light and reading the Bible. Oh man, that has so much emotion in it, maybe you can bottle some up and breathe it into Henry (though you probably don't need to. He's already in the running for my version of an Oscar).
